字體設計的靈感是以巴浩斯風格為主，這是源自建築師 Walter Gropius 於1919年，在德國創立 Staatliches Bauhaus（國立包浩斯學校），「Bauhaus」在德語中是「Bau」（建築）與「Haus」（房子）的意思，他希望透過一種全新設計師組織的創作概念，打破以往過多裝飾性的建築，去傳達所謂的實用機能美學。
