2022 FLIPPOS: Turning Stray Animals' Lives Around

It's that time of year again, the one I look forward to most: the Charity Sale of Flip-Socks!
As in previous years, FLIPPOS donates socks, and you donate love. All proceeds will be donated to the "Taiwan Faith For Animals Association."
Many of you might be curious why FLIPPOS's charitable donations always focus on animals.
Because I believe animals have no choice in this world coexisting with humans, but humans have the power to turn animals' fates around. While "adopt, don't abandon, or TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return)" may not completely solve the problem of stray animals in Taiwan, it is a way to start with education and awareness. When we cannot change others, the best way is to change ourselves, only then can we have the possibility of turning the future around.
Let me share the story of Xiaohuang, the stray dog in the photo. Xiaohuang was a stray child at Tamsui MRT station, and he was my dog son Xiao Ti's first friend. One time, we brought homemade jerky for Xiaohuang to eat. Not long after, Xiaohuang brought back a large hot dog, placed it on the ground, and motioned for us to eat it. It turned out this hot dog was given to him by someone at 7-11 just a moment ago. Xiaohuang didn't care if he would have his next meal; he wanted to share his most precious thing with us, simply because he considered us friends. At that time, Xiaohuang's small gesture had a huge impact on me, and it's the biggest reason why I've always wanted to do something for animals.
Later, we heard that Xiaohuang was taken by someone to watch over an orchard in the mountains. We tried to contact Xiaohuang's new owner, but the new owner stated they didn't want to be disturbed, so we gave up. We just hoped Xiaohuang could live happily in the mountains.
In 2022, FLIPPOS will donate a total of 122 pairs of socks with animal elements from two collections:
"Maya Flip-Socks" and "Whale Rider Flip-Socks."
