After getting injured in the Sydney Marathon last September, I rested all the way until late November. I was just thinking I could start running slowly when, suddenly, I had surgery in early December and rested for a whole month. It was the first time I realized how amazing it is to be able to exercise.
Last week, I walked with my family to dinner, and my legs became sore and my side hurt. I even yelled, "Mom, can you please walk slower? I really can't go on!"
But actually, walking is a form of training for me now. Being able to walk further and faster is progress. These Flippos Socks are what's helping me get back into it. Besides their beautiful patterns and colors, the main point is that they have functional compression. On the day these photos were taken, I walked for a long time. To thank my sister for helping me take photos early in the morning,
I even walked for over thirty minutes to buy her breakfast and deliver it to her office. When I got home at night and checked my phone, I had walked a total of 12.5 km. I was stunned, was I on a military march?
I originally thought my legs would be very sore, but they weren't!
Anyone who has seen my running photos would probably notice, "Really?"
I always wear compression socks when I run a half-marathon. I used to wear solid black ones, but now I have this pair as an option. They also match my usual all-black running top and shorts perfectly. The best part is, they look great when worn casually too!
And you can instantly change your style by folding them down. I think this #RedLeaf style, when folded down, becomes a super cute red and yellow color block ❤️ I recommend them to anyone still looking for good-looking and comfortable compression socks that can be worn for both everyday use and exercise.
