[The Dalit - Sahasrara Crown Chakra MCP]
The caste system is an ancient social hierarchy, with the Indian caste system culture being the most representative example. This culture is built upon the Hindu concept of reincarnation. The caste system comprises four main castes, dividing Indians into Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (warriors), Vaishyas (farmers/merchants), and Shudras (slaves/laborers) based on their social status. There are significant differences in marriage, justice, social welfare, and status depending on one's caste.
After India gained independence from British colonial rule in 1947, the caste system was officially abolished by law, making discrimination based on caste illegal. However, its influence can still be observed in daily life. Nevertheless, the Indian government, which has experienced multiple changes in political parties and has had two Dalit presidents, continues to strive for democracy and human rights equality to overturn the deeply ingrained caste system in the hearts of most Indians.

[LOVE & PEACE - Open Sea and Sky MCP]
Rock music originated in the southern United States in the 1940s. Its style combined African American music such as blues, rhythm and blues, gospel music, country music, and jazz to develop an independent musical style, performed by Black musicians. However, in the early days, most people listened to music through radio broadcasts, which allowed audiences to appreciate the music without seeing the performers' skin color. In an era with severe racial discrimination, rock music allowed people to experience the purity of music.

What truly propelled rock music toward the mainstream, allowing so-called Black music to be accepted by white people, was the release of the single "That's All Right, Mama" by singer Elvis Presley in 1954. This new musical style, blending country music and blues, later became known as rockabilly, and Elvis instantly shot to fame, becoming the first rock and roll superstar. In fact, since the 1950s, rock music has always represented a voice in society—a rebellion of young people against their parents, a stance against war, and opposition to racial conflict. Rock music carries universal values of anger, youth, fairness, and justice.

    #FLIPPOS Socks Design

    [The Dalit - Sahasrara]
The inspiration comes from the traditional Indian body art known as henna, or Mehendi in Hindi, which refers to the henna plant. Originating in Egypt around 5,000 years ago, it spread to the Middle East and later to India, where it became a symbol of blessings and good fortune, as well as an essential part of traditional festivals and weddings. In early India, henna was often applied by people of lower castes to those of higher social status, but over time it has evolved into a craft that anyone—regardless of age or profession—can learn and practice.

The overall design is inspired by the visual image of Ganesha, the god of wisdom. The elements include the Mandala, often seen in traditional motifs, symbolizing the center of all things and the universe as a whole. FLIPPOS believes that faith begins with thought, so we incorporated the Sahasrara, or crown chakra, which represents wisdom and higher thinking, into the design. Paired with Ganesha’s lotus seat, the Lotus, it conveys the idea that maintaining a pure heart and practicing gratitude can bring happiness.

After flipping the sock down, the originally lighter color becomes the main visual focus, symbolizing henna being painted onto our skin and spiritually and psychologically bringing us energy, joy, and good fortune.

    [LOVE & PEACE]
The inspiration comes from the concert stage design of Beyond, one of the most iconic bands in the Chinese-speaking world. The drummer is positioned at the highest point of a three-tiered stage, with the guitarist and bassist on either side, while the lead singer performs passionately at the front, closest to the audience. Vivid stage lighting shines on each performer, making the show even more powerful and immersive, as if you were right there at the concert.

After flipping the sock down, dazzling fireworks burst behind the stage, bringing the performance to its climax. The lead singer passionately belts out "Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies," leaving the crowd completely captivated, as if awakening in everyone a deep faith in their dreams. That spirit of loving life feels as free and unrestrained as soaring through the sky. Can rock music change the world? The answer is yes. It strengthens our beliefs, and belief can change a person—and perhaps even the world.
