After two decades of growth, the Taipei Film Festival entered its 21st edition in 2019.
The festival’s key visual was created by designer Liao Xiao-Tzu, winner of the Golden Melody Award for Best Album Packaging Design. The concept reinterpreted the butterfly motif that had represented the Taipei Film Festival since 2005, using a watermark-inspired visual technique to create an image that appears different depending on how each viewer sees it.
