The Equal Pace Collection
Every stride counts. Every soul runs free.
The 1970s marked a brilliant chapter in marathon history, an era that awakened from the post-war gloom, where the world rediscovered the meaning of "running." Marathons were no longer just elite competitions but became a popular athletic faith.
Among the seven World Marathon Majors, Berlin, Chicago, and New York successively ignited urban long-distance running crazes in the 1970s. Each race symbolized freedom, tenacity, and breakthroughs in human nature.
In 1972, the Boston Marathon first allowed women to participate, a turning point not only in sports history but also a social and cultural awakening. The running track became a symbol of equality, with every step redefining the boundaries of the era.

The Equal Pace Collection
Every stride counts. Every soul runs free.

On the running tracks of the 1970s, people found freedom through movement and began redefining what equality could mean. FLIPPOS brings that spirit back through retro checks and traditional sock-making craftsmanship.
The 1970s marked one of the most defining eras in marathon history. As the world emerged from the shadows of the post-war years, running took on a new meaning. The marathon was no longer reserved for elite athletes—it became a movement embraced by everyday people. Among today’s World Marathon Majors, Berlin, Chicago, and New York all began building their own long-distance running cultures during the 1970s, with each race becoming a symbol of freedom, resilience, and human progress. In 1972, the Boston Marathon officially opened its doors to women, marking not only a turning point in sports history, but also a wider cultural awakening. The running track became a symbol of equality, and every stride helped push the boundaries of its time.

#FLIPPOS Sock Design
At the heart of the collection is one of the most iconic visual codes of the 1970s: the retro check. Sitting somewhere between fashion and street culture, the pattern came to represent independence, rebellion, and the confidence to define your own path.
FLIPPOS brings that energy back to the ground, transforming a classic textile language into a modern expression made for runners.
The socks feature a 17 cm length designed for training, providing stable support from the arch through the ankle. Whether for everyday workouts or all-out efforts on race day, the fit is built to help you stay focused and perform at your best.
The collection is named after the world’s seven major marathons, each representing the unique rhythm and running spirit of its city.
When the socks are flipped, the original check pattern shifts to a 45-degree angle and works with the color palette of the sock body, creating a completely different visual rhythm. It is like stepping into the energy of another city—New York’s boldness, Berlin’s speed, Tokyo’s precision, or Boston’s elegance. With every step, you move through seven cities while running at your own pace, with your own sense of freedom and attitude.

If you still have any concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thank you. All measurements in the size chart below are taken when the socks are not stretched, and the compression level and elasticity of each pair of compression socks may vary slightly depending on its design.
