[The Dalit - Lotus MCP]
The caste system is an ancient social hierarchy, with the most prominent example being India's caste system culture, which is built upon the Hindu concept of reincarnation. The caste system comprises four major castes, categorizing Indians by social status into Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (warriors), Vaishyas (farmers and merchants), and Sudras (slaves or laborers). There are significant disparities in marriage, justice, social welfare, and status based on one's caste.
After India gained independence from British colonial rule in 1947, the caste system was officially abolished by law, making discrimination based on caste illegal. However, its influence can still be observed in daily life. Nevertheless, the Indian government, which has undergone multiple changes in political parties and has had two Dalit presidents, continues to strive for democracy and human rights equality to overturn the deeply entrenched caste system in the hearts of most Indians.

[Mohicans Retro MCP]
I still remember watching a film as a child called "The Last of the Mohicans." It depicted a war fought in 1757 between the British and French over colonial interests in America, involving the local Native American tribes.
Statistics show that during the colonial period in the 16th century, approximately 25 million Native Americans were killed by white settlers. As Native Americans had no written language, their languages and cultures were forgotten when their tribes were annihilated.
Although historical records of Native American culture are scarce, as early as the 11th century, Native Americans began creating handicrafts and jewelry. They did not write, but through tribal chiefs, they passed down traditional craft techniques orally from generation to generation, continuing to this day, expressing the spirit of a nation through art.
This tradition has profoundly influenced contemporary pop culture, with silver jewelry brands such as Goro's and Cody Sanderson inheriting the spirit of traditional Navajo art. (The Navajo are the largest surviving Native American group in North America today.)

    #ReversibleSockDesign

    [The Dalit - Lotus MCP]
The design is inspired by traditional Indian body art, Henna (Mehendi in Hindi), which means "henna plant." It spread from Egypt to the Middle East five thousand years ago and then to India, becoming a symbol of auspiciousness and blessings, and an indispensable element in traditional Indian festivals and weddings. In early India, Henna was applied by people of lower castes for those of higher status. However, with changing times, Henna has transformed into an art form that anyone can learn, regardless of age or profession.
The overall design draws inspiration from the concrete image of Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom. Elements include the Mandala, which appears in traditional totems and represents the center of all things and the symbol of the entire universe. FLIPPOS firmly believes that human belief comes from thought. Therefore, we incorporated the Sahasrara (crown chakra), which awakens wisdom and enhances thinking ability, into the image. This is paired with Ganesha's lotus seat, which symbolizes maintaining a pure heart, always being grateful, and thus bringing happiness. When the socks are reversed, the original light color becomes the main body, symbolizing that Henna has been painted on our skin, spiritually and psychologically empowering us with energy, joy, and good fortune.

    [Mohicans Retro MCP]
Composed of Native American elements, it features eagles and feathers, symbolizing the nobility, sanctity, and bravery of the tribe. The medicine wheel represents the knowledge of all things in the universe, structured by a circle and a cross. Dreamcatchers further signify the祈求好運 means of praying for good luck.
When the socks are reversed, the design with the Native American chief and eagle symbols commemorates every Native American who died in the "North American Indian Wars," signifying that their souls have flown with the eagles in the sky, but their spirit lives on forever.
