Shallow

Glaciers have melted, sea levels have risen, and the earth's gravitational field has changed in recent years. Whale stranding happens frequently and massively. The whales that survived on the beach had to be euthanized eventually due to the difficulty upon rescue.
In fact, massive whale stranding phenomenon has still remained mysteriously. Scientists continuously issued many concepts and hypotheses, in which the most convincing theory is global warming, especially the impact to the ocean.
With the risen of sea temperature, the predation area of whales has changed. Whales have to hunt in unfamiliar areas. The large-scaled stranding phenomenon happens intensively. What is visible now is most likely the beginning of sequent chain reactions.
FLIPPOS possess the concepts of advocating environmental protection and cherishing life upon creating ‘Shallow Blood Cove’ with tears.

Whales are the main characters of our design, swimming freely with fish and dolphins in the ocean. We make the wave look vividly through different layers of knitting with silver-gray tone showing slight sorrow. It hints that the nature ecology has been altered due to human selfishness. The whales and dolphins became a pile of bones when the hosiery is folded. We hope to propaganda the spirits of guarding the ocean and protecting the earth through this design.
