The Equal Pace Collection
Every stride counts. Every soul runs free

The design samples the silhouettes and fabrics of 70s running apparel, using vintage patterns as a symbol of that era. It blends fashion and street style, representing self-expression and independent spirit. Additionally, it incorporates modern functional tailoring and a washing process that gives the fabric a weathered look, as if it has endured the passage of time. This mirrors the runners of that era, who with every stride, ran towards their own equality and freedom. This is not just a set of running apparel; it's a love letter to the 70s.

    DETAILS & INSPIRATIONS

    The Equal Pace Collection
    Every stride counts. Every soul runs free.

    On the tracks of the 1970s, people searched for freedom through every stride and redefined what equality meant. Through vintage patterns and washed finishes, FLIPPOS weaves together the spirit of that era.

    The 1970s marked one of the brightest chapters in marathon history. It was a time when the world awakened from the shadows of the post-war era and rediscovered the meaning of running. Marathons were no longer reserved only for elite competition, but became a sporting belief embraced by the everyday people.

    Among the World Marathon Majors, Berlin, Chicago, and New York each ignited their own running boom in the 1970s. Every race became a symbol of freedom, resilience, and the breakthrough of human potential.

    In 1972, the Boston Marathon officially opened its race to women for the first time. This was not only a turning point in sports history, but also an awakening in social culture. The track became a symbol of equality, and every stride helped rewrite the boundaries of the era.

    FLIPPOS carefully selects premium Sensitive Fabrics® from Italy and applies an advanced washing process to performance fabric, creating a faded texture reminiscent of worn denim. Every inch reveals a one-of-a-kind sense of time and character. The boundary between sports performance wear and fashion is no longer clearly defined.

    Using high-definition print technology, vintage-inspired patterns are perfectly recreated on the base fabric, expressing the visual interest of mixed-material patchwork while preserving the advantages of technical fabric. The surface feels soft and smooth against the skin, with excellent stretch that follows the body without restriction—truly achieving a double upgrade in both texture and performance.

    —MAKE YOU PROUND features exotic vintage tile motifs, blending Eastern flair with Western silhouettes;
    —FADED introduces classic British plaid with an aristocratic lineage, elegantly blurring the boundaries of style;
    —BLUE JEANS juxtaposes ornate Byzantine-inspired totems with the past and present, reconstructing the design sequence of East and West.

    A Māori TIKI emblem appears on the left chest, subtly expressing a sense of strength and readiness.

    A refined hanging loop is attached at the back neckline, echoing the patchwork pattern details—proof that the magic lies in the details.

    A hidden inner pocket is placed on the lower right side of the back, perfect for carrying small personal essentials.

    The ultra-light external care label does not rub against the skin and can also be flipped inward and hidden when preferred.

    The classic hangtag can be reused as a coaster, while the packaging bag can also be recycled and reused.
