FLIPPOS founder Johnny Ku once experienced a full 42 km marathon in freezing conditions. That race inspired him to spend an entire year developing a winter running top designed to help keep the body warm in biting cold while allowing runners to perform at their best.

Designed for cold and damp conditions, this top is made with Janerino® performance merino wool, combining fine, soft Australian merino wool with synthetic fibers through advanced textile technology. The result is an enhanced merino fabric with improved performance, durability, and all-day comfort.

Ultra-light Janerino® wool is designed for year-round training and performs especially well in cold-weather conditions. It offers excellent moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and odor-control performance, while helping retain warmth even when the fabric becomes wet. Tested over long distances, the fabric is designed to resist becoming heavy with sweat, helping reduce unnecessary weight during competition.

Ripstop, water-repellent reinforcement panels inspired by military performance materials are added at high-friction areas such as the elbows and shoulders, providing extra durability and protection—especially when carrying a backpack outdoors.

A dropped-shoulder oversized silhouette, asymmetric front and back hems, and side tassel detailing work together to create a more balanced, distinctive proportion and stronger overall look.

An ultra-light external care label helps minimize friction against the body and can be flipped inward and hidden when preferred.

An external utility pocket provides convenient storage for cash, credit cards, and other small essentials.

The classic hangtag can be reused as a coaster, while the packaging bag is recyclable and designed for reuse.
