Fashionista Euricacheng, long time no see.

on May 05, 2022

"I really enjoyed this photoshoot. Life is a bit like this breakwater; most of the path is flat and can be walked on your own – but it's not so comfortable that you can charge straight ahead. You have to watch out for holes and bumps. Sometimes, due to insufficient ability (are my legs too short?), you encounter obstacles that you can't overcome directly, so you inevitably have to take a more circuitous route than others. But at least we all have a goal, and we all yearn for light."

Today's socks are The Voice - Ina Mother MCP
Unlike last time when I wore them as direct knee-high socks, I really like the orange that folds down – it's like a blend of human skin tone and the sun, striking but not harsh on the eyes.

#PatternStory
The Amis tribe is a well-known matriarchal society, where men marry into the woman's family, and children are named after their mother's surname. Inheritance within the family also prioritizes women.
However, this doesn't lead to a situation where women are superior to men. Women are the heads of the household, but men handle all external affairs. There are still many important matters that women cannot participate in – if you delve deeper, you'll find there's a significant difference from a "feminist society." Nevertheless, it shows that the tribe values and respects the greatness of women in managing household affairs and raising children – "Mother" truly represents a key concept for the Amis people.

Thanks to the design and thoughtfulness of Flippos socks, I truly feel that the olive green combined with the turned-down beautiful, warm solar orange is like a mother :).
