Recently, mountain races have become more frequent. For medium to long distances, compression socks are indispensable to reduce fatigue from climbing and accelerate post-race recovery.
I started wearing the Taiwanese brand @flipposhk a few years ago. I love their ethnic styles and the variety of Earth tone colors, which aren't as overtly sporty as other brands, making them great to pair with long pants for going out.
I wore them for a nearly 20km run in 30-degree Celsius heat this past weekend. Overall, they felt breathable and quick-drying, absorbing sweat slightly, with a texture similar to cotton. They also have silver fiber for odor and bacterial resistance. I expect to have less chance of matching outfits with others in future races.Wearing The Voice Cidal Sun & Red Leaf
